The World Championship returns to Brazil for the second round of the 2026 season. The Brazilian Grand Prix will be held from 20 to 22 March at the Ayrton Senna circuit in Goiânia, marking the South American country's return to the MotoGP calendar after more than twenty years away.
The Brazilian weekend comes immediately after the opening round of the season and promises a spectacle with the stars of the World Championship: Marc Márquez with Ducati, Marco Bezzecchi on Aprilia and the young talent Pedro Acosta with KTM ready to fight for victory.
In Italy, the Grand Prix will be shown live on Sky Sport MotoGP and streamed on NOW, while TV8 will show the races delayed and free-to-air.
The Goiânia circuit: MotoGP returns to Brazil
The Ayrton Senna circuit in Goiânia is 3,835 km long and features 14 corners, nine to the right and five to the left.
The Brazilian track is characterised by:
a very fast main straight
wide, flowing corners
several overtaking points
The last time the World Championship raced in Brazil was in 2004 in Rio de Janeiro, while in Goiânia races were held between 1987 and 1989 with victories for great champions such as Wayne Gardner, Eddie Lawson and Kevin Schwantz.
The return of this GP is therefore a special event for the MotoGP calendar.
