Who processes the data

The data controller is Francesco Marcucci, who publishes Ultimogiro (www.ultimogiro.net). For any privacy question you can write to ultimopuntonet@gmail.com.

What data we collect and why

You can read Ultimogiro without registering and without providing any personal data.

1. Technical visit data (server logs). Like every website, our server automatically records for each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested (including any words entered in the site search), the referring page, and the type of browser and operating system. These data are used only to run the site, protect it from abuse and attacks, and find errors. Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are deleted automatically after 14 days and are not used to profile visitors.

2. Messages you send us. If you email us, we use your address and what you write only to reply and handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it and in any case no longer than 24 months, unless the law requires otherwise.

Analytics and advertising. The site currently uses no analytics tools and no advertising. If we introduce them in the future, we will update this policy and the Cookie policy beforehand and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

Who can see the data

Data are never sold or handed over to anyone. They are processed by providers that help us run the site, acting as data processors:

  • Vultr (hosting): the server is located in Frankfurt, Germany;
  • Cloudflare (backup copies of the site; they do not contain visit logs);
  • Google (Gmail email, only for messages you send us).

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Any transfer of data outside the European Union takes place with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

At any time you can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive it in a readable format (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). Write to ultimopuntonet@gmail.com: we reply within one month.

If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of your country.

Minors

The site is not specifically aimed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.
