Motorbike bonus 2026 starts: up to €4,000 off electric scooters and motorbikes. But the funds are limited: here’s how to get them immediately.
Ultimogiro Newsroom · 17 March 2026 · 2 min read

The countdown officially starts for the motorbike bonus 2026 dedicated to electric mopeds and motorbikes (and partly hybrid ones): from tomorrow the platform reopens to access state incentives, but as already happened in previous years, there is only one keyword — speed.
The contributions are in fact allocated until the funds run out, according to the principle “first come, first served”. In other words: whoever arrives first buys at a discount.
The mechanism remains the same as in recent years, but with numbers that are still very interesting:
30% discount up to €3,000 without scrapping
40% up to €4,000 with scrapping of an old Euro 0-3 vehicle
A concrete incentive that can significantly lower the entry price of electric two-wheelers, which are still more expensive than equivalent internal combustion models.
One of the most interesting — and often underestimated — aspects is the simplicity of the procedure.
There is no need to fill in forms or make a direct application:
👉 the dealer will book the incentive on the official platform
👉 the discount is applied directly on the invoice
👉 the funds are deducted in real time
This means that the customer only has to choose the model and finalise the purchase before the funds run out.
In previous years, the resources were exhausted very quickly, especially in the first days of opening.
The reason is simple:
strong demand for electric mobility
incentives that are still very generous
limited availability
And one crucial detail should not be forgotten:
👉 2026 could be the last year with bonuses this high
From 2027, in fact, the incentives will probably be reduced.
Behind the eco bonus there is a precise strategy: to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable urban mobility.
Electric motorbikes and scooters are a key solution because:
they reduce emissions in cities
they cut traffic and noise
they have lower running costs
The incentives are there precisely to close the initial price gap compared with traditional models.
For many users, the answer is yes — especially if:
you have an old scooter to scrap
you use the vehicle in the city
you want to cut fuel costs
With the maximum discount, the final price can fall by thousands of euros, making electric finally competitive.
