Iker Lecuona and Sam Lowes confirm themselves as competitive, while Alberto Surra continues to surprise with his growth in the category.
The weekend ratings give Bulega a 10 for his impeccable management and Lecuona a 9 for his constant chase.
The championship now seems to be heading towards Bulega, but the battle for second place is becoming interesting with Lecuona, Lowes and Surra in the mix.
The next round at Misano could prove decisive in trying to stop Bulega's Ducati dominance.

Ducati dominance continues: Aragón crowns Nicolò Bulega again
The Aragón round of the 2026 World Superbike Championship ends with a certainty that has now accompanied the championship for several months: Nicolò Bulega is the benchmark of the category. At the MotorLand Aragón circuit the Aruba Ducati rider completed a practically perfect weekend, winning the Superpole Race and Race 2 after Saturday's success, confirming a superiority that seems increasingly difficult to counter.
The Panigale V4 R once again proved to be the bike to beat, but the main credit goes to a rider who seems to have reached extraordinary racing maturity. Bulega is not only the fastest, but also the clearest-headed in managing races, able to strike at the decisive moment and to manage the advantage without ever exposing himself to unnecessary risks.
Behind him, Iker Lecuona once again stood out, the only one capable of troubling the world championship leader especially in the Superpole Race, while Sam Lowes consolidated his role among the protagonists of the season. Also worth noting is the excellent weekend of Alberto Surra, who is becoming increasingly convincing in his growth within the category.
The Aragón weekend ratings
Nicolò Bulega rating 10
When a rider wins all the races of the weekend and continues to increase his lead in the championship, the top mark becomes inevitable. At Aragón he once again showed impeccable management of the most delicate situations, never losing control of the race.
In the Superpole Race he had to deal with the pressure of Lecuona and of a particularly aggressive group in the opening stages, but once he found the ideal rhythm he was able to pull away without giving any chance of a response. In Race 2 the script was repeated. The feeling is that he always has something extra compared to the opposition.
Iker Lecuona rating 9
The Spaniard was the best of the chasers. Racing in front of his home crowd was an extra motivation and the Honda rider tried in every way to interrupt Ducati's dominance.
For several laps he managed to keep in touch with Bulega, showing aggression and great determination. In the end he had to give in to the superiority of the world championship leader, but the weekend remains extremely positive and confirms the competitiveness achieved by the Honda project.
Sam Lowes rating 8.5
Consistency, speed and substance. The Briton continues to collect important results and at Aragón once again showed that he is one of the most consistent riders in the championship.
Always present at the sharp end, he managed the various phases of the races perfectly, taking a deserved podium and consolidating his role within the Ducati line-up.
Alberto Surra rating 8.5
One of the most interesting stories of the weekend. The young Italian continues his development, surprising insiders and fans alike.
In the Superpole Race he even managed to join the battle for the top positions, showing personality and courage against much more experienced riders. The speed shown at Aragón is an important signal for the future.
Alex Lowes rating 8
Bimota continues to grow and the Briton is its main interpreter. Aragón confirmed the progress of the KB998, increasingly close to the positions that matter.
Lowes takes home a solid weekend, without mistakes and with consistent performances that allow the historic Italian manufacturer to look ahead to the next rounds with optimism.
Axel Bassani rating 7.5
An intelligent and concrete performance. He still does not have the potential needed to fight consistently for the podium, but he manages to maximise the result and collect valuable points.
His experience is proving fundamental in the development of the Bimota project.
Garrett Gerloff rating 7
Among the protagonists on Sunday thanks to a combative race that allowed him to recover several positions. Kawasaki shows some encouraging signs and the American manages to make the most of them.
Álvaro Bautista rating 6.5
A difficult weekend for the two-time world champion. The Spaniard continues to live with some difficulties that limit his competitiveness compared with the best.
His experience still allows him to bring home important points, but the direct comparison with his team-mate highlights a currently significant gap.
Michael van der Mark rating 6
A weekend without any particular highlights but without mistakes either. BMW continues to chase and the Dutchman only manages to limit the damage in a technical context that remains complicated.
World Superbike 2026: the title already seems to have an owner
After the Aragón round the championship seems increasingly geared towards Nicolò Bulega. The Ducati rider continues to win with impressive regularity and, above all, gives the feeling that he can manage any situation without ever losing clarity.
Behind him the battle for the top positions remains wide open. Lecuona confirms himself as the main opponent, while Sam Lowes, Alex Lowes and the surprising growth of Alberto Surra are making the championship particularly interesting behind the leader.
Attention now turns to Misano, a round particularly awaited by Italian fans. It will be the opportunity to see whether someone will finally manage to interrupt Nicolò Bulega's impressive winning streak or whether Ducati dominance is destined to continue even in front of the home crowd.
